Frequently Asked Questions
How do I distinguish between a dot and a dash?
It is entirely based on hold duration. While pressing the key, listen to the tone and watch the hold meter. A quick tap registers as a dot; holding past the threshold turns it into a dash.
What is the difference between Straight Key and Buttons mode?
Straight Key mode simulates a real physical Morse key where timing and rhythm are up to you. Buttons mode gives you dedicated Dit and Dah buttons so you can construct letters easily without worrying about millisecond timing.
Can I practice on mobile?
Yes! On touchscreen devices, tap and hold the big key area or switch to Dit/Dah buttons for effortless typing on phones and tablets.
